Music, Memories and 10,000 Shoes for Carol Majeau

I'm releasing a cd called Island Paradise for Carol on June 7th. As many of you know Carol passed away on April 27th 2006.

Some of Carol's friends want to honor her by helping out some less fortunate with something that Carol was very passionate about, shoes.

In the early years of our marriage Carol and I would drive from Edmonton to Calgary to shop for shoes. Soon Carol would convince many ladies to take these day trips to Calgary to seek out the best shoes that they could find. Some of our other shopping excursions included New York City, Toronto, Vancouver etc,etc, etc, (you get the picture).

Carol loved the adventure of shopping and I know that she would be pleased that these ladies are taking on this task to honor her by collecting women's, men's and children's gentle worn or new shoes which will be sent to the Ukraine via an organization call HART. I know Carol would be proud of how these ladies are stepping forward to collect 10,000 shoes. She would be proud of their courage because I know that at first she had to do some major convincing just to get some of these ladies to drive to Calgary for the day. Now look at what they are doing.
